Yep, this is the house that Krissy bought. It met all the criteria that I had. It has a nice long long driveway. In fact, you can't see the road from my house as there is a slight curve in the driveway.
I have a little bit over 4 acres of land. 1 acre is full of big trees, the kind that were planted in a row for future lumber. I guess if I ever got really really poor I could sell the lumber for 100 bucks? I don't really know if I could sell it. I didn't have flat land as part of what I wanted but it sure is nice to have it so flat! My friend Kellie's husband doesn't understand why I have not yet planted 1 acre of potatoes yet! That what he would do with flat land! I see people on riding lawn mowers and I can see that they have a hill and I just wonder how they do it!
It's all on one level, other then the basement, which is, you guessed, in the basement. I have lots and lots of space there. I have put my freezer there, other then that, it's empty.
I have a nice porch in the back, I like to sit out there in the summer and read.
I have nobody close to me. I have corn fields North, South and West of me, and to the East I have trees. I can let my dog out and not worry that she will be bugging the neighbors or getting ran over by a car.
In this picture I am in the corn field South of me, that's how close I am to fields. I worry that Farmer Brown can see my unmentionables on the clothes line,so I hide them behind the towels!
I like the house you chose Kris. It's very private, and looks like it's in great shape too. The woods will be nice to have. We also have the wooded lot next to our house and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
ReplyDeleteI love your house Krissy! I am jealous of your roomy kitchen, laundry room, spare toilet and full basement. Wow! You've got it all. I can't wait until you get goats, chickens and a horse or two. (one will be for me, ok?)
