My sister is on a shopping spree! I think, that she thinks, that she has been deprived! We went to one store, that I tried on 2 shirts and then I was shopped out, she was not. She came out with 2 and I came out with nothing. Well, maybe a little bit of a headache.
Then we did a little road trip.
We found a craft fair so we went into that. She bought a crib size quilt for 4 bucks! She was shocked that it was only 4 bucks! She would have been willing to pay 15, so she snapped it up. She also bought a very pretty pink baby set. It was a matching hat, booties and mittens. She was happy as she now has hand made things for a baby shower that she is going to go to when she gets back home. Then I had to confess to her that the 2 knitted blankets that I got at the Elk Mound craft fair from that little old lady? That that little old lady was also in a wheel chair!
After that, we went for some more driving, too bad that the weather was icky, it has been sleeting off and on all day.
The we had to go to a SUPER WAL-MART! She was again shocked at how cheep milk was, and the eggs. She also bought 2 shirts there. So she feels real good now. I don't know if she will have room to take them back to Alaska with her.
We then went to Red Lobster for dinner, it was pretty good. last time I was there I was not overly impressed but tonight it was good.
We are going to bring deviled eggs to Church tomorrow for the pot luck. I hope that we have better then normal food! I hope that we don't have the green bean thing!
I'm pooped!

so Krissy...you don't seem too upset with Patty doing ALL that shopping! hmmmph...I think she did more shopping than me!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're having fun and I hope no bugs attack Patty.
Us sisters should try and do something as our oldest (and wisest) sister suggested. (Love you too, Jenny poo). Hawaii does sound good!
I think you just answered my question. I asked Patty if you took her to the potluck today. If they had green beans today I can imagine you two girls could not keep a straight face!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you both are having fun. Can't wait to meet Miss Patty tomorrow!
For the record, Kris was the one who suggested the clothing store as SHE wanted to look at clothes there. I did try on more than she did, and I did buy two shirts and she bought none. At WalMart I had seen some shirts I wanted in Anchorage but the next time I went they were all gone. So WHILE Kris was shopping for something else I swung through the clothes, saw the shirts that Anchorage used to have and I picked up two WITHOUT trying them on. So I didn't take any time. In fact, I was waiting at the front of the store for her. So there.
