Little bit of this and that.

This is a view from my side door looking at (duh)
the garage and my driveway. I really like the local D.O.T. guys that work in my township. For $25.00 a plow that will come and plow my long long driveway and clear out in front of the garage and where I park my truck by the house.
You can see the pathway that I shoveled to the garage. I never have liked shoveling and I still don't like it. But it needs to be done.
Also I took my truck in on Tuesday to see if I had a engine block heater. I couldn't find it so I wasn't sure if I had one or not. Well the guys at the local gas station took a look for me and yep, I have one! The electric cord had not been pulled out and was hard to get to. They pulled it out and zip tied it to the front grill so that I can now plug in my truck. They didn't charge me anything either! So I am right now making them Orange rolls. Like a cinnamon roll but with orange butter filling and a orange glaze. The roll part is raising right now.

See over on the upper right side of the page? Where I have that picture of trees? This is the winter picture. I have about 8 in of snow now. My dog wont go out unless I trick her with the "Let's go for a walk?" I then walk her to the trees that you see and she does her thing and then quick like a bunny she goes back to the house and lays down on my bed!
Do you see the cow? It came with the house.
I need to come up with a name for it. What's a good cow name?

  1. You are a sweetheart, baking rolls for those guys. That's really nice. I am sure they'll appreciate it! Growing up on a dariy farm I used to name alot of our cows. My favorite was, Big Blue, she was cow that had these grayish blue spots instead of holstein black. Some other names were, Sally, Daisy, Dolli Pardon, Missy, Clarise, Milly, Molly and Buttercup (one of my favorites). Hope that helps!

  2. Are you using the pillsbury rolls in a can? Sure, you're not.

Tim wants you to measure from the right edge of the door frame to the back of your garage and give him that measurement. Also measure the height of your door while you're at it. And check to see if electricity to garage.

Cows are named Clara Bell, Clover, Daisy or Buttercup. I vote for Maisy Daisy.

  4. Orange rolls? What a nice thing to do for the "Cenex" guys.

As for the cow names...the only one I can think of is Bessie. You know, Bessie the cow? I think that's back from the 50's & 60's. Correct me anyone if I am wrong.
