I'm going to share with you all. So right off the bat I have to say "Sorry Mom!"
I hate to shop. My sisters stopped asking me to go with them years ago as they know that I will start to whine and fuss. This is all leading up to say that I have some old old underwear ( I can hear my Mom right now saying "No Krissy No!") and being that I wash clothes on the weekends, today I was down to the last one. The oldest of the bunch, the one that has no elastic in the waist, the one that if I was in a accident I would be mortified! ( OK fine! I wear bloomers! OK? Are you happy now?)
I made a couscous salad for the Church potluck today ( Didn't go over to well, I think that you need to cover everything with cheese here!) and as I was walking into Church, I could feel my undies falling down! The only thing keeping them from my ankles was my jeans! It's a very odd feeling to have your undies bunched around your thighs. My arms were full from carrying the salad and people stopped me to say hi and ask questions, like "is it cold enough for you?" When I was done putting the salad away I went to the ladies room and reached down around my knees and yanked them back up where they belong!
I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go shopping. I hate shopping! And this close to Christmas? It will be terrible I tell ya, just terrible!

I love couscous, but I know people around here need to get use to it. I took a couscous salad to my church cookout this summer. I brought home half of it!!!!
This reminds me of a bra in the airport story....I'm laughing just thinking about it. I almost wore one of those girdle things today since I was going up front,but it kept rolling down on my waist so I just had a tire instead of overall support. Who designs this stuff?

I know a great place to buy undies, I really do want to go out and buy some for you - that was a good idea pakart. My advice, splurge and buy good ones, since I've done that my undies have lasted longer and I always feel a bit more secure. My second bit of advice throw out the old stuff!

ReplyDeleteP has been telling me for a very long time how BAD my undies look and I just ignored him. In Maui I was doing laundry in the condo laundry room with other ladies around. For some reason my undies really did look BAD since the eyes of the other laundry room ladies were looking my way... don't know why they didn't look so bad when I was repeatedly folding them up here at home.. but with "other" people's eyes .. suddenly my undies were absolutely pathetic... and no I haven't gone shopping yet.. now I'm home and there's just P. to complain... ;o)
