I love chocolate! but I get tired of having it all the time. My twin sister says that she has had some type of chocolate every day for the past 10 years or so. Can you image? Everyday? I'm not that die hard of a chocolate lover. In fact citrus may be my favorite desert.
Lemon curd always seemed to me a scary thing to make. The other day while at Wal-Mart there were lemons (No basil!) and they just called to me. So I cruised through my cook books and found a lemon curd recipe that looked good. As I was making it, I just couldn't believe that it would set up to soft stage with a nice pile so I added a little bit of cornstarch. It turned out really really good! I kept going to the jar to get a spoonful of lemon goodness! This morning I made some mini tart shells with my brand new muffin tin that my friend Kellie got me. When they cooled down I filled them with the lemon curd. I will take them to work tomorrow and share. Maybe, there is 12 hours between now and going to work!

Yippee treats tomorrow!!!! I love anything lemon. I will have to dig through all my recipes because I have an awesome lemon dessert recipe where you make your own lemon custard and then make a soda craker/butter crust...it's too die for!!!!!! I will share the recipe with you.

Were the dark chocolate/lemon candies good that I sent ya? I would've been tempted to get into them before sending had it been a choc filling but I usually steer way clear of lemon. Never get a hankerin for lemon. Lemon merangie pie...yucko.
