Abby, if you scratch me with your toes, does it not hurt?
If you are chewing on your bone on my foot and you accidentally bite my big toe, do I not feel the pain?
Do I not pick tics off you?
Have I not shared my bed, my food and my money with you?
Do I not know where all your itchy spots are at and scratch them for you?
Do I not take you for car rides and let you bark at the cows and stuff?
So why is it that when I wanted to nap on the couch the other day and I laid my head on your rear end, you sniffed my head, grunted and then got off the couch?
That really hurt my feelings!
What a goofy dog. Does Abby not realize she has a big body?
ReplyDeleteIs she not spoiled? Do you not take her side over your own flesh and blood? Is she not the most ungrateful dog ever?
ReplyDeleteI'd still take her and treat her nice if you were to bite the bullet, but I would unspoil her rather quickly. She would not have huge toenails in my bed at night.
Hmm... Can't use Freya as a pillow as she has bad hips.
ReplyDeleteThree of my 4 cats sleep on the back of the couch behind my head. Two of them don't mind being my "pillow cats". One cat in particular (Salem) glues himself to me if I'm not feeling well. If I'm sick, he's beside me at all times except to eat and use the litter box. A very loyal cat!
What an ungrateful wretch. Do you think she'll reply to your letter? When you started out with Dear Abby it reminded me of the classic 'Dear Abby' letters. Maybe you should consider having dear Abby letters as a regular part of your post.
ReplyDeleteGet a cat and give poor Abby a break!!! Or better yet, a puppy!!
