Soap Talk.

I have been the the dark and cold basement for the past few hours. I'm getting ready for the Oct 24 Craft Fair that I'm going to be in. I wrapped a bunch of soap and put them in their little bags. Still need to put bows on them. I also have 6 batches of soap still to wrap. I don't want to be a procrastinating Patty on Friday night wrapping soap. ( Yes, that is a dig at my sister Patty )
After Church tomorrow I have to run into town and get more supplies. Also I'm going to buy a better, more costly pinking shears. I have not yet tossed the cheep ones out, but I'm about ready too! I noticed that I had my jaws clenched when I was using them. ( Yes, I have been known to throw a thing or two.)

I bought a rug for my area as the cold floor was not fun and I needed a bit more color in my gray basement. I think that I am also going to buy a heater. That might make it just right in the basement.

  1. Krissy the soap looks great! I know what you mean about wanting to throw the shears although in my case it is this laptop. I will be working on it and the screen blanks out. I have had it to Best Buy 3 times, and it works every time! My warrenty will replace it the screen gets broken!

  3. Wow. I'm really feeling the love from WI right now. Just read your comment on my blog too. You ought to try waiting until the last minute like I do....it gives you a burst of adrenaline, your mind becomes focused and you get a burst of energy like you wouldn't believe. Kind of like a junkie probably (I wouldn't know)and then when you go to bed at 3:00am you are so tired that you sleep like a log. Then you get up and drink pepsi all day. Works for me!

  4. That is cool! Do you make your own labels? I want to start making custom soap to leave in our guest cabin and I like how you labeled and bagged your soap... what a cool idea!

Oh and your soap area is totally cool!

  6. Looking good! You have a great work area there? Did you get some audio books to listen to while you did all that wrapping?

  7. Linda, Yes and no. I told my sister Patty that I wanted a life like goat but that I wanted the goat to have Da vinici style wings. That is what she came up with. She did a pretty good job I think.
