It must be this cold snap that we are in! I feel that I have had a lot of post about food. I have to tell you about this taste treat that I found the other day. Yesterday, on my off day I went for a little drive (Gas is now 1.99Gal!) and came across a cheese store. I know, It's kind of odd to come across a store totally dedicated to cheese! But here in the Dairy state that's what they do and that's what they have. I for one, like going to a cheese store. So, anyway, I didn't buy any cheese but I did buy this bag of pure yummyness! Think of a cheese puff, but instead of cheese flavor it was a caramel goodness with just the right amount of salt! I ate the whole bag. It was only 6oz, not so bad ( Ha ha it was puffed corn! very light and airy) I did try and share with my dog Abby, but she didn't have an interest. Her loss, my gain, in more then one way. So tonight I'm having grilled chicken (lemon,oregano and garlic) with green beans and red potatoes.
so was it caramel corn, but exeptionally light and fluffy? I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteCorrect. It was like cheese puff, kind of like styrofome but with a corn flavor and caramel flavor. I don't care to much for popcorn but I really liked this

ReplyDeleteWe go to the Cady Cheese store a few times a year on our way out to my parents' house. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is another good cheese store on Highway 64 if you're ever up for the drive that sells chocolate cheese - http://www.bolenvalecheese.com/ Not as large as Cady Cheese, but pretty neat.
