Lessons and lost.

Well, I learned a good lesson today. On the way over to my friends house for Christmas dinner I passed a corn field ( I know! How amazing is that?! A corn field in Wisconsin?!) but what was neat about this corn field was that it was full of wild turkeys! By the time I figured out what they were I counted 10, but there was more, I just didn't count them all. The lesson? Bring your camera at all times!

The lost part? I don't know how but I'm missing a light blue T-shirt. I only wore it in the house as it was almost a religious item ( It had a lot of holes, get it? It was holey ) I can't find it any where! I looked behind the washer and dryer. I looked behind and under the beds in both rooms. I looked in both closets in both rooms. I went through all my drawers. It's just gone. The only thing I can think of is maybe when my sister came to visit she took it or when my mom and dad came, they took it. I know, that's kind of harsh to accuse family members of stealing but I calls it as I see it! And I can't see it!

I don't want to dwell on my thieving family members so I will switch the conversation to the weather. The weather here in Wisconsin this eve is ish-mah. And it's not going to get better for awhile. Tomorrow it's going to be in the high 30s and rain! Yuck! It's going to be just sloppy!

Oh, and I would like to end this with a moment of silence for my friends in Alaska at the old job.

On Friday, Dec 26 the A season starts ! Ha ha ha ha ha...And I'm not there for it!!! I'm giddy with the joy of missing the A season! I will look at your Dutch Harbor WX daily and feel your pain......NOT!
( For those that might want to look. On the bottom right hand side of the page I have a link to AK Weather Cams.)

  1. Maybe a dingo got yoh blue tshirt.

I would like to clear my name in this accusation of t-shirt stealing. I did NOT steal your holey t-shirt. Why? Why would I? I have enough of my own sloppy icky shirts. I don't need yours.

  3. We saw lots of wild turkeys yesterday too on Cty Rd G, a shortcut to Wheeler. The turkey's were everywhere in the cornfields!

I hope you had a good time at K's house. I opened my jar of whiskey cake last night....boy was that delicious. The spray cream added a nice topping. Thanks Krissy!

Could Abby be the culprit to the "case of the missing holely shirt"?????? Did you sit down and have a talk with Abby girl?

  4. Yes Kris, A season is here. No we are not excited. I am praying that the SEA wx stays nice. So far that may be the biggest hang up. Wouldn't that be funny if it snows in SEA and DUT is clear. :) Miss you!!!!

  5. Krissy.... If your shirt was in the same shape it sounded like your underware was, your mom probably did you a favor and turned it into a cleaning rag!!!!
