My fault.

I don't have a picture to show you. But I went off the road on the way home from work!
It was snowing pretty good and the guy in front of me was making me cranky! He was going super slow, but that was not what was making me cranky! He had no tail lights! I could tell that he had head lights but not the other. And he wasn't staying on his side of the road. That's what was making me cranky.

So I took the long way home on the back roads. There's this one road that comes to a "T" and you need to stop and go left or right. Well I couldn't stop, I wasn't paying attention to the road condition and this back road has some ice and then with the blowing snow it had polished it to a icy slick rink. When I taped the breaks I could tell that I was in trouble.

Good thing that this back road hardly ever has traffic on it, as I blew right past the stop sign and into the ditch and into the field. I was not able to go forward so I put the truck into 4 wheel drive and backed out. So I wasn't stuck bad at all. I'm just really really super duper glad that I didn't hit the telephone pole! That would have been a bad thing.

The other good thing? I didn't swear! I said "rats!" as I went off the road.

  1. I'm so glad you are ok. and that no one was there and that you didn't hit the tel. pole! Gosh, you even got out on your own. I picked the boys up from school today and I was behind someone with no tail lights on in the blowing snow, I could hardly see him.
    Happy you're safe!

  2. My name is.....and I was wrong. Yep, but good thing you were able to get out on your own. That doesn't really count as being stuck if you can get out.

    Did you get pkg yet?

  3. So you went off the road? Oh Krissy, I'm glad you are ok. When I left tonight at 7:20 pm, the roads were bad but I drove like 40 mphs all the way home. I was glad to get home tonight, it was a long day.
