Oh hush now! I know some of you are asking yourself "why in the heck did she post that picture?" Well, the reason is, remember when I had zucchini coming out my ears? and I made 5 pints of relish? Well, I opened up a pint and had it on my grilled (pan fried) kielbasa sandwich that I had for breakfast this morning. Let me tell you, I make a mean, mean zucchini relish. You might think that it should be green looking but I had golden zucchini so that's why it's not very green, more yellow/green. I also know some of you are raising your eyebrows because I had a sausage sandwich for breakfast. I just have a real hard time with cereal. I have zero tolerance for the sog factor. Soggy cereal makes me think of soggy toast and that makes me get a little gaggy! ( I felt an urge to share that with you!) I have a friend in Alaska who will, on purpose, put toast in a baggie and take it to work so that she can eat her cold soggy toast with her oatmeal. ( shudder!)
My sister is going to think that it's burnt, but it's not. It just has a nice char going on there!
What is your recipe?
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me. I like a variety of things for breakfast and sorry to say cereal is one of them. Although I do kind of wolf it down to try and avoid the sog.
ReplyDeleteK, I will e-mail it to you.
ReplyDeleteI like cereal as long as it stays crispy and if it has 1/2 and 1/2 instead of milk. But then I have to eat several small bowls so there is no sog. Your sandwich looks kind of yucky. Not the Kielbasa on toast, that looks good. The confetti looking blah...blah...
ReplyDeleteWell you must be toasty warm if you moved from Alaska to Wisconsin. My sister lives in Wisconsin too!
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of breakfast sandwich! I usually crave something spicy & salty for breakfast....cereal, no thank you!
