My dog hates to be cold. Between digging under and using her mouth she will get buried under blankets. I keep a few old blankets on the couch just for that reason. But, the blanket that she has on her is MY BLANKET! Hers were being washed and this is the one I was using to cover my legs. I watched her as she leaned over and with her mouth dragged it off me and then wormed her way under it. She's kind of sneaky that way. But she was just to cute for me to stop her!
It kind of makes me think of a little old Russian Grandmother with her scarf on her head.
She does look like a little babusha. Ginger doesn't like to be covered up so she never steals our blankets. I think the kids used to torture her with various kind of 'blanket clothes' when she was little - thus the blanket loathing.
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! I have a cat who likes to "tent" himself under any blanket. Gets frustrating when I'm trying to keep my feet warm!
ReplyDeleteThat is the funniest picture ever. You should enter that in some photo contest. I enlarged the picture so I could see Abby full-blown. I love the little guilty look on her face!!! What a doggy.
ReplyDeleteI wish my dogs were that smart. Maryann will actually get out of her doggy bed if it's the slightest bit uncomfortable and stand at our bedroom door and softly whine until I get up and make her bed and help her get comfortable and then put a blanket on her. She's spoiled, ya think?
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute picture. I recently took care of my Uncle's dog for a couple days that turned into 2 months. The dog is a large chiwawa (sp?). It like to burrow also but it is much smaller. We had to make a bed in the closet, the warmest room in the house, under the dresser so that he was cozy. Dogs are funny. But we still are not getting one, yet.
ReplyDeleteSuzy, What kind of dog are you thiking about? Did you ever get your back yard fenced in?
