Noop! He is not playing possum. This guy is deader then a door nail!
Abby and I went outside for a little fresh air today. Her more then I as after about 5 minutes I came back inside, but I was only wearing sweats and a t-shirt. After about 15 minutes or so Abby wanted in.
She came in and was acting all happy and bouncy, was tossing her toys about and kind of being a pest. She wanted back out and this is what was waiting for me! Such a good dog! What a mighty hunter. She wanted to bring it inside but I talked to her about how that was kind of yucky and it was best to leave it outside. After a couple of tries she left it outside.
Oh, and sorry if a picture of a dead, fuzzy (not so fuzzy now as it's been mouthed a bit ) little creature upset any gentle readers out there.
What exactly is it? Is that what digs all those tunnels in your yard?
ReplyDeleteK and A got a snake recently and are feeding it live mice. I would find that a bit hard to watch, but apparently they don't.
That looks like a pretty big mouse! The mouse is all wet so Abby must have had fun with it in her mouth, or was she licking it????
ReplyDeleteIs that a mouse or a vole? We have alot of both around here. Maybe Abby could come and catch some for us. Ginger would probably not know what to do with a mouse.
ReplyDeleteThe kids found a rat in the shed when they were sorting our recyle stuff. It had climbed in a big glass bottle and couldn't get out. Weird huh.
