I'm so so craving a good pizza. I hear people talk about a place in Menomonie called Ted's? Something like that. I think about going into town and checking it out. But then I remember I just did my taxes and Uncle Sam needs a lot more from me, so going out to eat can't be part of the Uncle Sam budget. Oh well, I like beans and rice. ( I keep on telling myself that. ) This also means that I won't be going for Sunday drives like I used to. Sorry, I don't mean to come across as a cry baby. But gas is back up to 1.99/Gal and going for a 3 or 4 hour drive is not is the smart thing to do. Right now.
It was a good day at work today. My book that I have to read for the book club came in today.
Yep, I joined a book club. First time. The book that we are reading is called " Rhett Butlers People" by Donald McCaig. It's the authorized novel based on "Gone with the wind"
I'm not sure when we meet, but I know that they meet at the library on Thursdays. I work Thursdays so I will be there when it happens.

Ted's pizza is good, but we also like Jeff's too (use to be Jeff & Jim's). Do you like Little Slice of Italy pizza's?

ReplyDeleteNever heard of that book. Never been in a book club. I'm not really a club kind of person, but I have a friend at work who is that loves her book club.
We all like Ted's alot. Last time I ate there I tried pepperoni and green olive toppings on their thin crunchy crust, it was delish! Save up and treat yourself.
ReplyDeleteI did just join a book club for the first time this month. The discussion was great. I trully love listening to what people think. We read The Shape of Mercy, it was pretty good and raised some interesting questions. Our next book is Club Sandwich by Lisa Samson. After I read it I'll do a little book talk on my blog.
I read the book Scarlett that was some sort of continuation of Gone With the Wind. This next book looks huge too. I wait to hear what you think of it before I put it on my reading list.
I remember Ted's Pizza! We used to order pizza from there at my old job.
