But I just won the " Who does Dad love best?" contest with my sisters. They didn't know that there was a contest but I won anyway! My Dad in rather tight with money. He will gripe when he goes to the hardware store. Let's say that he needs to get some washers. He will come home bugged that it cost .10 cents for a washer when back 50 years ago you could get 10 washers for a penny! What's this country coming to?! By gum!
Dad called up 2 of my sisters today up in Alaska but they both were about to leave the house so they wouldn't talk to dad (OK maybe couldn't would be a better word to use ) So he called me up and we talked for 21 minutes. Which, if you knew my dad would know that this is a long time to be on the phone. (unless you're talking about planes ) And this was on his cell phone so you know it was costing him money! So, this just proves that dad loves me best! I'm number 1!
On the bad side, I was making cookies and this is what happens when you're on the phone.
Upper left, before the phone call, far right, the phone rang, lower left, on the phone and didn't set the timer. Oh well, they still taste good. Much better then the craisin/oatmeal ones.
I must be waaaaaay down on the list because I didn't even get a call, either that or I'm one of the ones he called but I wasn't home.

I talked to him. For about three minutes and I was not leaving for anywhere. ( I was on the house phone talking long distance to my sweetie tho...) He calls me on my cell phone from his cell phone so that it costs us both money....You can't tell I'm just like my DAD??? Yes I had my surgery and yes I feel a lot better and yes I am still going to Texas cancer center to moniter/further test and figure out what to do about my Liver. So I don't know that your #1 as he called me first and I did talk to him....hhuuuuumph!!! lololol just remember I am #1 cause I was born first so there nnnnnaaaaahhhhhh! Love ya Krissy

Another great thing about the net; you can carry on this way from Alaska t Wisconsin to BC and my Scotish heritage doesn't kick in and make me hang up the phone.

I'm glad your dad calls you. When my dad was able it was just never his think, mom was always the one to do the talking over the phone.
