A new song.

Here's a picture of my folks. In this picture they are only seconds from driving away. We did not burn the big pile of sticks. Dad said that the sticks were too green and it wouldn't burn well. I need to wait till spring when they have has a chance to dry out. So that's what I will do. I'm nothing if not a obedient daughter! ( That's a knee slapper! I crack myself up)
I sang a new song this morning. Instead of " Thank God and Greyhound you're gone" I sang " Thank God and Alpine light you're gone!" I miss them already. I wanted them to stay longer but this morning it was 16 above and dad didn't want to deal with things freezing up as it's only going to get colder.

This morning when I went outside to feed the goats I saw this reflection. I liked it so I took a picture of it. If you look real close, you can see my mom's hands on the right hand side. I love her hands. They have done so much for me in my life time.
To bad the kittens didn't do more of this when my folks were here. Harvey, the black one, kind of, maybe sort of, was a pest. My mom liked him though. He likes to be held and mom likes to hold kittens so it was a good match.

  8. I'm glad you guys had a nice visit. You could always throw some gas on the twigs and then it wouldn't really matter if they were dry or not. NOOOOOO!!! Don't do that. I'm just kidding.

Kitties are growing. Still cute tho. I'm such a cat person.

  9. I missed mom and dad. Oh well. If they had stayed around much longer Dad would be lecturing you about money so it's probably better that they left when they did. I'm surprized he bought another plane though....doesn't he ever have enough?
