Abby.

I don't have that many regrets. But I do have a few. One of them is that I never took that many pictures of my other doberman named Tina. I try and take lots of pictures of Abby. Abby is getting deaf. I took this picture when I came home from work. I changed clothes, went and got the camera, snapped the pictures and sorted some laundry. Even with all that she did not wake up. I then very gently, stroked her head and she opened her eyes and wagged her little stub tail. Old dogs are the best kind of dog.

  1. Ohhhhhh Abby, she looks cozy warm, but totally out-of-it!

Just give Abby a big kiss.

  2. Not much of a watch dog, eh? Although I'm sure she still barks at inanimate objects and people walking along the side of the road in......parkas! oooooh scary!

  3. Oh, Abby just has to pretend to look intimidating! People will already be wary of her just because of her breed. Same with Luna. Although Luna is having a livestock chasing issue now...

Aunt Krissy, when are your girls due? I just bought a couple more does and we're expecting babies sometime next month. The old timer we bought them from isn't really sure of an exact date. And these girls are not as friendly as my other 3 goats. So, I'm trying to win them over quickly!

Blogger isn't liking my identity today...

  4. OS- My girls are due May 5tha and May 14th. I wanted them to be born in the spring. When all the snow is gone and pretty much going to stay that way.

  5. She is a good ol' dog. I have to say it would have scared me a bit when to have done all that and not a peep from her. If you know what I mean?

  6. Remember our old golden retriever, Bud? We would drive our car into the garage, slam the car door and shut the garage door and he wouldnt wake up! Oh to sleep that sound!!

  8. Tina, dear Tina.. I can just picture her and "Slipknot" running the hills around Dutch Harbor (with "Dickens" nipping at their heels!! And the time Tina & Slippy got a little too friendly (after we had just decided the neutered dogs could not "do it"!!)
