I have not shown much of the girls lately. It's been cold and the girls do not like being out in the cold. Yesterday it warmed up to about 20 and I thought that they needed to get out and get some sunshine. I stopped and cut a oak branch down so that I could lure them out of their stall. As you can see, it worked.
I can tell that they must be having a pregnancy growth spurt. For awhile they were just eating their normal grain and hay ration. Now they gobble of the grain, eat all hay put out and when I go to give them their second feeding of the day they are all excited to see the food. I am bumping up the amount just a little bit. They are already well nourished!

Yummmmm, branch for lunch...can I have some?
ReplyDeleteThey are looking on the p.g. side - will be curious to see if they pop twins or triplets!!
ReplyDeleteTheir coat's look darker to me, did they get a thicker coat for winter?
ReplyDeleteI honestly think Febe is going to have 3. She's so big. It's so cold here I can't put mine outside. Whisper just shakes.
