I bought two packages of bacon a few months ago when my sister Alicia was here. We ate one as BLT's and I put the other one in the freezer. It was meaty bacon but it was lacking something. This bacon was local and was called Pit Smoked Bacon. I pulled it out of the freezer to thaw out. (Hey Rose, did you catch that? I thawed it, not unthawed) As I was cooking it up, I said to my self "Self, this bacon needs help, what would be good?" Hum? Maybe brown sugar would be good. So I put some in. My knees buckled when I had the first piece! I ate half just right from the pan.Crack Bacon. Try some today!
