Yippy Skippy!

I'm going back up to Alaska in Dec for a little vacation! We have the tickets, now we just need to find a house sitter or a critter sitter or someone to come by once a day to make sure the two cats and the 15 chickens are doing okay. And maybe give them food and water.

Yep, T.J. is coming up with me. He gets to meet my family. A few weeks ago he was in a wedding and I went with him. I met his Dad and Stepmother, brother and SIL, half brother and half sister and a bunch of kids. His family seems very nice and they were all kind to me. His dad made sure that I sat with them in the family pew during the wedding. Oh, and the bride fainted before the wedding, during picture taking. That was the first time I saw that ever happen.

T.J. gets to meet three of my sisters and their husbands. My Dad and Mom won't be in AK while we are there. he has met my mom already.

This Saturday we are going to his sisters house for a birthday party for her kid. Then watch the big Packer/Viking game. Hum, I wonder, should I wear my Viking shirt and be brave in the sea of green and yellow? Wouldn't a splash of purple look nice?

  1. A.K., You wear a Viking jersey in Packers Country and you may as well just stay up there in Alaska!
