What a wonderful day it was! It got up to 40 at my house and I went into the big town and the bank sign there said it was 46! Being that I have not been here for a winter yet, I'm sure that we will get some more cold weather, but man oh man does it feel like spring today! I has a little extra spring in my step today for sure! Even Abby was liking being outside. She would go out for about 20 min at a time today. She's pooped now so I hope that she will sleep good tonight. Yes, when your dog sleeps in your bed, under the covers it's important that she sleeps well so that you can sleep also! If and when she gets out of bed she wakes me up to get back in under the covers! If only she had hands and thumbs!
While at Wal-Mart I was looking at the spice section. I needed to get some garlic. I wanted the powder or the granulated kind. Yes, I have fresh garlic but I like to have the other kind also. But, back to the story. There was 3 brands. One was a small jar and cost almost 4 dollars! The other 2 were bigger and cost less. The biggest one was the cheapest one. Being that there was such a price difference I looked at them and saw that all 3 were from China! I am a little uncomfortable buying food from China right now. But I bought it anyway. I wonder if there is a USA company that makes it?

We had a taste of Spring here too. I actually had the windows open to air out the house. Thanks for stopping by my site, as you read, I am having a great day today.
ReplyDeleteIt really was a nice day today. I think my face even got sunburn!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about the Menomonie Market, they have a nice spice & herb section.
I don't look at labels. I guess maybe I should. I talked to mom this morning just after talking to you. D. was hooking up the 5th wheel and they were getting ready to go.
ReplyDeleteGarlic from China, that seems weird. I have been buying dried garlic, I think it was pretty cheap.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice today. I dragged Korb outside to play ball with Ginger today.
We buy in large containers at Costco - it's called Spice World and it is a USA product, or so it says on the label.
