This can kill!

Did you know that these can kill a dog? Oh, I don't mean the potential choking hazard and that kind of thing.

I mean that kind of kill when the main dog food buyer, the one and only vet bill payer and the only person in the house who pets the dog, steps on this in the wee hours in the morning (2am ish) as they stumble to the bathroom in the dark!

When I went to bed, the bedroom was a rawhide bone free zone! So how? How did this get into the bedroom? My dog is very sneaky! She set me up. I'm sure of it! It was on my side of the bed, not hers!

  1. Ha. The cats leave their toys on my side of the bed during the day. And when I'm cooking, one tries to sit on my feet.

I think all pets must have a secret plot of some sort.... ;)

  2. Almost as bad as jacks or legos. Mine leave that half of a rubber ball laying right in the middle of the hall so I'll twist my ankle again. They want me to get hurt, laid up and then stay home all day with them.

  3. Hey, how would you like to step in a pile up "Yack" in the middle of the night? My former cats use to throw-up a hairball or just yack up their food in the middle of the night...it was so gross. My daughter use to get really, really mad at Sheba, because Sheba ALWAYS yacked her in bedroom, it never failed. In fact, there are all kinds of little carpet stains from Sheba yacking. I still love my cats however!

  4. Bones can do the same thing. Ever step on one of those in the middle of the night with the middle of your foot? Not nice! I've learned to pick them all up for the night so I don't accidently get surprised and hurt by these "caltrops".
