It was a good day today. On the way to work I turned on the radio ( I don't listen to it much ) and they were playing lots of Led Zeppelin songs. Not Stairway to Heaven, good song but played way way to much for me. I had the radio cranked!
Work was good, not to slow, not to busy, just right. 3 books came in for me. It was a hot day and a few patrons remarked how nice it was to come into the library where it was nice and cool. Don't you just love A/C? I know I sure do on a hot day.
When I got home the girls were making a racket! I came into the house via the side door and did a fast change of clothes and got the girls out of the pen and sat out with them for about an hour. This is where they ate this evening. They are in the picture but you can't see them. It was nice out. It cooled down to 82 or so and there was a good breeze, the crickets were singing. Just a nice time outside. The girls headed back to their pen on their own so I put them up for the night and
came into the house from the main door.
And I had a box waiting for me in the hallway! It was from Beth in OK. She sent me a goodie box! I love goodie boxes. Look at all the goodies! I was going to have a spinach salad for dinner tonight but I had 2 big cookies instead! Yummy. She sent me 2 loves of bread. I will have the Cinnamon, Walnut and Raisin bread for breakfast. The bag on the left it a big bag of yummy looking granola. I might have to have that as a snack tonight. The jar on the right is Apple pie jam. Doesn't that sound good? ( Just so you know, I just snacked on the granola, it is as good as it looks, even better! ) Thanks Beth!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got your goodie box. Thanks again for the soap. I love it!!! I used the plain soap on my face this morning and it was great. Just enough suds. And I really like the way it made my skin feel. Jeff loves the "Boy" scent.(love the name, I think you should call it that.) I can't wait until I can buy more for my friends and family.

ReplyDeleteYou really scored! Blogger friends are the best! Mom got our soap and I'm supposed to go over and get some today. How about "Peace" or "Quiet Pastures" or "Sleepy Goat Soap" or "Lazy Goat Soap" for the relaxation soap.
ReplyDeleteI got to try some of the granola and I'm here to tell you it was fantastic! I saw some granola at the farmers market and had decided to make some. Got a recipe off the internet, but have not made it yet. Now after trying the stuff from Beth I'm in trouble, cuz nothing is going to measure up to that!!
