I called up the Dish Network and canceled my service. Boy oh boy did that take time. I got passed around with each person asking my why I wanted to cancel, did they do something wrong? How could they keep me? I was offered a $5.00 discount if I stayed with them. I told them that I thought that paying almost $30 bucks was way to much for the 2 stations that I watched. They then got kind of snotty with me. They asked if I would be able to get some lens off the dish itself. I said "no, I'm not climbing on the roof, in the winter time to get a lens. If you really need it back then send somebody out" They choose not to do that and will NOT charge me for it.
They are the ones that put it on the roof. Funny, I didn't think that I watched that much TV, but now that it's gone I realize that I had that thing on all the time! I had it on for back ground noise I guess. It's real quite in the house now. ( Well, it would be if the kittens didn't run crazy in the house!)
This is where I put that big card catalog type thing. I put my collection of silver overlay on the top.
Cheep entertainment for the kittens. I turned on the ceiling fan and they find it fascinating.
I'm curious why you labeled this one "chickens"....did you maybe forget something you wanted to write about. Your kitties are cute - are you a little worried they are going to knock over your silver overlay? I would be.

That's weird about the school thing, that doesn't seem very professional or a good example to students.

Wow! That is very strange that they did send you something or call you about the requirement to be there. That is real bummer about the class being full too. I went to college in 2004, then again in 2007... I wish you the best in your endeavors! May you get awesome grades!!! (I forget is it called grades in college? lol)
ReplyDeleteWe have Dish Network also. We just got a basic no frills package. I seldom ever turn it on during the day, but sometimes I do watch a movie or series in the evenings. We had a friend staying with us for several months and the TV came on when he got up and he even took a DVD player to bed with him! It was quiet when he moved out! I like it that way... lol.
