Pi day!

I have to admit, I kind of feel like Linus (from Charlie Brown) waiting in the pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin. ( Am I a nerd or what?)

I think that I will put on the the poll the following pies.

1. Coconut Cream Pie. (I want to use coconut milk in it, some kind of twist)

2. Key Lime Pie. (Maybe a cheesecake style?)

3. Supreme Citrus Pie. (I have made before, it's a two layer pie)

4. Peanut Butter Pie. (With a chocolate cookie crust, and with a ganache layer)

5. French Silk Pie.

I have had some request for Cherry and other basic fruit pies. Sorry, those are too basic for National Pi Day! (Besides, I don't really like cherry pie)

I will have the poll up soon, vote as many times as you like. The poll will close Friday, March 12, I will bring the winner in to work on Monday and share it with my co-workers and a few patrons (The ones that I like)
If there is a tie, I will make both pies and bring to work and then become a pie pusher!

  3. Don't mess with good Key Lime pie - just make it the way it's supposed to be. Remember when mom messed with the stuffings and gravy? It's just not the same if you "put a spin" on it. Basics!

  7. Sure, sure, can't vote for my favorite -cherry!!! Had a great apple/cranberry pie at church Saturday, when we got done "working", and the older ladies fed us. But since no cheery here, reckon' will have to vote on Key Lime!!
