Sunshine on a rainy day!

Today was/is a rainy day. The kind of day that makes you want to curl up and read a book. Well for me that's what I would do. A few days ago it was again a chilly day and I wanted a bowl of tomato soup. I opened up a can of Campbell's, not good! Not what I remember from my childhood. I even made a grilled cheese sammy to go with it but that still did not help.

Anyway, back to sunshine on a rainy day. When I got home today the UPS man came by. For me? This big box is for me? Really? Wow! ME! I had no ideal what or who it was from. I opened it up and look! I got flowers from Beth in OK. She feels for me about how I no longer have any goats and was thinking of me. That is a big bright spot of sunshine for me today! Thanks Beth!

Oh, and it came with a box of chocolates! Yummy, I ate them all up.
I got all the stuff to make my own tomato soup. And I'm going to have a grilled ham and cheese sandwich to go with it.

  7. I'm not a nice person, I never think to send flowers, except to my MIL. I'm glad Beth did though because I can see how that would brighten your day. Maybe I should be nicer and think about stuff like that too.
