happenings

This morning, for my 8AM class (Human Resources) we had the Dean and another person in class. The Dean announced that our teacher would no longer be teaching this class and this was our new teacher! We only have three weeks left. I feel for the new teacher as the old teacher did not follow his own syllabus and was poor at reporting our grades.

Also today was the day to register for Spring 2011 classes. I did. Next semester I am taking the following classes
  1. Principles of Management
  2. Business Ethics
  3. Professional Selling
  4. Oral/Interpersonal comm
  5. Marketing Principles

I was thinking that I was going to have to make the choice of not going to school due to the cost of driving back and forth. It was eating up any extra money that I had, and trust me, I don't have extra money! All five of these classes are online. No driving this semester!

I figure that I will have to put myself on a schedule and be disciplined about doing the work. I think that I will do okay. I already plan on getting up at 6.30am, taking care of the chickens and walking the dog and then do "school" from 8am till 9am on Tues/Wed/Fri as I have to be at work at 9.30am on those days. Then do school in the evening from 7pm till 8pm. Then on Mon/Thurs do "school" from 8am till 2pm. Each Class is one hour long, and three days a week for a total of 15hours a week. I have myself schedule for class for 18hours.

Then today I got something in the mail. Wow! I sold some soap to a blog friend Ceder View Paint Horses. He sent me a check plus a bottle of homemade salsa. Check out the link. It's some hot stuff, but man is it good! It has a back of the mouth heat that is very warm. (Very warm!)

Thanks CVPT! I really like it. I plan on having it on my eggs tomorrow.

  1. I vouch for you on the hot sauce. Just a finger tip full and I was coughing and couging....it was a good cough (lol!). I think Kellie's Cal would love it too.

Good for you for plugging away at the classes Krissy.

  8. That's great about the schooling, although it will be hard. You will have to learn to be very disciplined - no more books for you!
