Yum!

When my sister Alicia came to visit she brought some moose meat that my folks had. One of the chunks of meat was a roast. So carrots, onions and potatoes and
One browned roast makes a really good meal!

Mom said that the moose was on the "chewy" side (Tough) I put it in the crock pot
while I was at work and the meat was "fall apart tender" when I got home. Cause I browned it
first, it made a really good gravy. (Yes, I took all that brown goodness in the pan and put that in the crock pot) I had moose for dinner, moose for breakfast and I will have it for lunch today.

  5. I would not know what moose taste like. Is it tangy? Or, just like beef?

  6. I have been so hungry for pot roast I may just make one this week-end. I don't have moose so beef will need to suffice. I will get some beef that hasn't been filled with hormones.

I wonder how moose would taste slow cooked with wine?
