Did it.

I went and enrolled in some classes this morning. I felt very odd walking around with all those young people, they looked so happy and ready to grab life. I wanted to smack them upside the head as they made me feel old. ( I woke up with a aching back and crick in my neck, I blame Harvey )

I'm signed up to get an Associate Degree in Business Management but this semester is full so I am taking general classes that I have to take anyway. After about 2 hours of watching how to video's and going to this room and that room and talk to that person, I got 2 classes. That's 6 credits that I will be taking for this semester. I think that with working part time that that will be enough for now. Come summer time, I can take more classes and if I find that 6 credits is doable then maybe I will take 9 summer credits.

The classes that I have are, Written Communications and Into to Psychology. The WC class is 3 days a week. 8am to 9am, Monday and Wednesday and the 3rd class will be online and I will be able to do that from home. The Into to Psychology is a 3 hour class on Tuesday night. From 6pm to 9pm. It really works good with my work schedule. I can still work all my hours and pick up some hours if need be. ( Like a coworker gets sick and such ) Tuesdays will now be a long day for me and Abby ( The dog) and the girls ( goats ) but we will make do.

Think that the writing class will help with my poor grammar and spelling on this blog? We can only hope! Hey, maybe I can get credit for this blog in that class. I will have to look into that.

  1. I'm so excited for you Krissy. Hey, are you going to buy a backpack so you can feel like a REAl student? hee, hee!

  2. Of course u need a backpack, for sure! They are the easiest I think for hauling textbooks around.

Will u be able to go home and feed your animals between work and getting over to class? I don't remember how long of a drive it is to get to the College

Congrats, Krissy, I hope you love it there! Learning is fun, doh!!

  3. I'm excited for you and jealous. I wish I had the gumption to go back to school.

  4. I am so proud of you!!!!

    Yeah Krissy!!

  5. Come on - you're reneck - what's wrong with using Duct Tape!!! teehee

  6. Glad you got signed up, hopefully it will be a good experience and you'll have good teachers.

  7. "krick" could be Harvey but it also could be "old age" ...

Glad you are signed up for classes. Can hardly wait for you to do a creative writing class. You have so much material all ready to use.

Bestest for yet another adventure !
