Did it.

I went and enrolled in some classes this morning. I felt very odd walking around with all those young people, they looked so happy and ready to grab life. I wanted to smack them upside the head as they made me feel old. ( I woke up with a aching back and crick in my neck, I blame Harvey )

I'm signed up to get an Associate Degree in Business Management but this semester is full so I am taking general classes that I have to take anyway. After about 2 hours of watching how to video's and going to this room and that room and talk to that person, I got 2 classes. That's 6 credits that I will be taking for this semester. I think that with working part time that that will be enough for now. Come summer time, I can take more classes and if I find that 6 credits is doable then maybe I will take 9 summer credits.

The classes that I have are, Written Communications and Into to Psychology. The WC class is 3 days a week. 8am to 9am, Monday and Wednesday and the 3rd class will be online and I will be able to do that from home. The Into to Psychology is a 3 hour class on Tuesday night. From 6pm to 9pm. It really works good with my work schedule. I can still work all my hours and pick up some hours if need be. ( Like a coworker gets sick and such ) Tuesdays will now be a long day for me and Abby ( The dog) and the girls ( goats ) but we will make do.

Think that the writing class will help with my poor grammar and spelling on this blog? We can only hope! Hey, maybe I can get credit for this blog in that class. I will have to look into that.

  2. Of course u need a backpack, for sure! They are the easiest I think for hauling textbooks around.

Will u be able to go home and feed your animals between work and getting over to class? I don't remember how long of a drive it is to get to the College

Congrats, Krissy, I hope you love it there! Learning is fun, doh!!

  7. "krick" could be Harvey but it also could be "old age" ...
