I know something is up over at my neighbors place that's about 3 miles from me when all the trucks pulling horse trailers start coming down the road. On Saturday I drove down to their place to see what was going on. I don't know what you call it but they had a jumping/going a distance competition thing. It was taking about 15 minutes for each rider to finish? I wasn't really timing it, just watching it. Man, the horses were big! I mean big! I didn't get a good pic but this one horse was so large and the rider was a small slip of a 
girl, not more then 90lbs, I would think? she looked about 14 tops! The pic of all the truck and trailers doesn't really show how many people and horses were there. This place has a lot of acres and at the main barn there was probably about another 100 or so tents,campers and horse trailers, some where real big rigs. It kind of made me want to get a horse ( slap slap, that's me slapping myself upside the head! ) and then I wonder, what in the heck do they do with all the horse poop? You will have to forgive me on the action shots!

You know if we were kids and we lived where you do, our dream would be to work at that horse stable down the road. So we could ride horses. But I suppose if we were kids growing up around there, we would have had horses.

Yeah thats me alright. Yes I have internet but its the oldfashioned kind and right now I'm ruffinscruffinruffin scruff the price for the last month...so I will be sparodic till I get direct satelite link-up again. Kriss I have been reading your blog since the begining and Patty I just found you by reading the comments...Have to tell you it made me tear up seeing the pictures....Just so you know its is snowing here right now and I think it is here to stay and I'm about 3 cords of wood short for the winter ( I have about 4 cords now but last year it got 74 below here) so will write more later. Have to find out how to go about getting a blog for the transplanted Anchorage tundrawoman LOLOL
