This is a picture of the corn field that I share a property line with. The other picture is where Farmer Brown came by and cut a swath of corn down. My dog started barking and then I heard this really loud noise. By the time I got dressed and grabbed the camera, Farmer Brown and his corn cutting machine was way down the field and turning a corner. It's been about 1/2 hour and I still have not heard the machine coming by. Its a real big corn field. The corn field and I share the south and west property lines. The smell of cut corn is rather nice. It's a fresh, green and sweet scent. Not

bad at all. Sure beats that poop/rot smell! Also you will note that I gave you a little "eye candy" in that one picture! Come on! Don't you think that's the best looking dobie ever? Oh, and for you freezing cold folks up in Alaska? It's a balmy 68 at my house. It's windy, but a warm south wind! Nice! Oh, and I'm sorry if that sounded mean! I'm just trying to share with you!
P.S. If you want to see the "eye candy" better, you might need to
enlarge the picture!
Nice Dobie! Now with the corn cut, you just might feel "exposed."!!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny, eye candy. I couldn't even find her at first.
ReplyDeleteYes we have balmy weather indoors. My heating bill is going to be huge!!!! Someday I too will enjoy 68 degrees in October. Someday!
eye candy, shmandy.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the putrid smells are being replaced by something so nice. I love the smell of fields. Why is someone denying that to me?
See you very soon! Hope the smells are still there.
