I haven't been on a nice long drive for awhile. Today I took a drive and saw 3 states! Why you ask? Because I can! For those that live here in the lower 48, you're probably thinking, "Whats the big deal?" But when you have lived in Alaska all your life, it's a bid deal! I drove south on State Hwy 25, then over to State Hwy 35 all the way to La Crosse and past it. At the little town called De Soto, I went west on Rd 9 over to Iowa! Can you beat that? Went West till I hit Hwy 76 North. Then up into Minnesota! And then crossed back into Wisconsin at La Crosse and came back home the same way. I'm giving you the directions just in case you have a map and want to follow along. (Dad and Mom) Iowa looked different then Wisconsin! Its true! Wisconsin has a lot of trees and in Iowa, when I got past the town called Lansing, it became all fields and cows! (I want to move to Lansing!) It took about 8 hours for this drive. That was with 2 potty breaks for me and the dog. Speaking of potty breaks. It's very hard to find a spot in the lower 48. It's all farmed and owned land and just when you think its safe to drop your pants! Here comes a car! But don't fret! I managed. I have years of practice!

I thought I was the only female that drops her pants! I've had to do it really fast along a bicycle trail with bitting deer flies and mosquitos.
ReplyDeleteAnd did you have t.p. or did your old nickname of "one sock krissy" come back to haunt you?
