Well, it didn't work out today to go and learn how to milk a goat. The lady that has the goats and was going to teach me had to run some errands. We will do it maybe tomorrow or over the weekend. One of her errands was going to get milk re-placer for the kids (baby goats) as she has separated them from their moms and is hand feeding them. She has a total of 6 babies that she feeds by hand.
Being that it was my off day and Abby was
bugging following me around and she
falls asleep in the truck likes to go for car rides, I decided to go for a drive. Why not? It was a nice sun shiny day. ( It's raining now ) I went and took a spring picture of the church that I have been following through the seasons. Here it is in spring. One of these times I'm going to stop and find out some information about the church. Like how old and stuff. You can see some of the grave yard off to left hand side.
Too bad milking didn't work out.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice day for a drive though. Ginger likes to go for rides too, but doesn't get to real often.
You'll have enough milking day and night to last you a lifetime pretty soon. Enjoy your non-milking days while you can! I love that church - I still plan to paint a pic of it with watercolor. Maybe that will be my next project.
ReplyDeleteI agree with PA, you'll have your days ahead for lots of milking.
ReplyDeleteI like that church too. It's so rural life, ya know.
