Good Day.

Did some chores today. Not all, just some. I returned all the borrowed stuff to the nice guy from church. Returned 6 milk jugs and a bucket that the I got when I last picked up milk. I scrubbed that bucket like nobodies business. It was a yucky bucket. In truth I dumped that load of milk as the bucket was so dirty that I felt that the milk was tainted. But that's OK. I still have lots of milk. So much that I told the goat lady that I can't pick up more milk till I get some used up.

I returned 9 3x7 wood post that we didn't use. That was easy. Got some money back.

Stopped off at a green house and bought some plants. I'm going to give eggplant a try. Also I bought squash. It's not yellow squash or zucchini. It's called a winter squash (Not acorn or the like. ) Just a squash. I also planted 2 tomato plants, pole beans and yellow squash. I like squash.

Oh and I washed 2 loads of clothes and put them out on the new cloths line that Tim put up for me and also have them down now and put away. I can tell that the towels will be painful!

  1. I'm glad you had a good chore day.

That was nice of Tim to put up a new clothesline for you, what a nice BIL.

  3. I'm glad to be back home, but I'm already missing hanging clothes on the line. Sounds like you had a very productive day. Did you cut the soap yet? I'm curious to see how that works out.

  4. I miss having a clothesline. Just pop the towels in the dryer for a little bit to soften them up.

  5. I bet your laundry smells so good! I miss that! We don't have space at this house for a clothes line and I bet it would be against the housing association's ordinances or some such nonsense.

wv: tooth- how weird to get a real word!

  6. Eggplant. Mmmmm. Er no. Oh well, it makes a pretty plant.

Slice it at a half inch, drizzle some evoo on it, dash of s&p, some pecorino romano from BelGioiosio, and grill on one side for maybe 5 mins.
