I just got of the phone with my Dad. He's coming here tomorrow! I get to go to the Twin Cities and pick him up. I am happy to see my dad. But the bad part is that my Grandma died this morning. That's why he's coming down. She was 97 ( or 96 ) so this was not a surprise but still. Kind of a bummer reason for a visit. We will go over to MN on Sunday and visit with family and on Monday we will go to the funeral. Not sure if we are coming back Monday night or Tuesday.
I'm so blessed to have my good friend Kellie living here close by. I also talked to her tonight and as she says "Don't worry your pretty little head about Abby and the goats. All will be taken care of" I am going to try and board Abby as she is getting cranky in her old age and Kellie has lots of cats and little dogs. I would hate for Abby to die choking on one of the little fur balls as it would get stuck in Abby's throat! Then Kellie would bad, I would feel bad. But you know what? I'm not worried. It will all work out. Also Kellie will cover my shift at work. Nice to work with friends.

Krissy, I am so sorry to hear about your Grandma. Even though she lived a good long life, it is never easy to lose a loved one. I am glad your dad is able to get down to be with his family and to attend the funeral. Please remember that funerals are not for the dead, they are for the living.

Krissy, I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother passing away. You got to spend sometime w/her by moving closing to her. And I'm sure she loved having you close. My thoughts will be w/you and your family the next few days. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI arranged for flowers today from all 5 girls. I'm happy Dad gets to come see you and hang out for a week or so. That will be fun - I bet he doesn't like the goats at all! Mom and I went to Harry Potter movie this morning - it was good. I received bar of soap this afternoon -WAY TOO STRONG for me! My mailbox smells like Bay now. It might be worse because I have a headache - I may set it on the backporch until I'm ready to work with it.
