That is a picture of my fish belly white, belly. I was out cutting some oak branches and also some kind of bramble (Blackberry or Raspberry but no berries) for the goats and I felt a burning type feeling on my tummy. ( Just so you know, your looking at a 6 pack! ha ha ha, I about peed my pants! 6 pack?Don't I wish! I'm still giggling! ) I never did see what got me but he/she got me good. I had a big bump that was tender for a few hours and then this morning when I looked at it it looked like this. It was probably a saber tooth spider or a vampire spider. Not sure which.
We will just have to wait and see if I get retractable fangs.

Tim doesn't have a 6-pack either, we call his a keg. Maybe that's what you have. I don't doubt the saber-tooth spider, you got big bugs down there.
ReplyDeleteBetter on you tummy where you can cover it up than say on your chin or cheek. I like the keg analogy. I'll have to remember that one.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was a Brown Recluse spider (http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2061.html) they have a little bite, but it goes away.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of bugs in Wisconsin that bite so you just never know what it is.
Good thing you didn't actually see what was crawling on you before it bit ya. I'm already chuckling as I envision the freak out moves you would have been making!!
ReplyDeleteso anyway Krissy...I miss you lots and I love that I get to see the daily haps through your blog. I think I "hear" you more now than when you lived close by, sorry to say.
Maybe we (me and Patty poo) can visit you for a bit sometime soonish. Love ya!
Ick, bugs or spiders or whatever it was can sure be pesty. The bugs i dread the most in the summer are of course tics and deer flies, which can really give a good bite. I swell up like I have a bee sting if a deer fly gives me a chomp.
ReplyDeleteHope it heals quickly!
