This morning I woke up to the sound of rain coming down, darn! that meant that I couldn't mow my lawn! Rats, I hate that when a chore gets interrupted! So I stayed in bed and read a book and was slow to get up and more around, but around noon the sun came out ( the sun does that here, come out I mean! ) and I felt like a drive as I had been in the house all day. So about 1/4 of a mile from my house is where this pic was taken at, I just love his old barns, I dont see any cows and farm "stuff" at his place. He usually has a truck and 5th wheel parked in front of the barns so I never got a chance to take the pic. I wonder why the small red barn on the left side has walls that have that odd pitch? Anybody know why they would do that? but this is why I like going for drives, yesterday I had to run some errands so I took some back roads and came across a bunch of horses that would have been a great pic, but when you have a dog barking at them they tend to go away, so I will have to try again with out the dog, or I could just have taken a pic of horse butts! Probably all you horse starved people in Alaska would have been happy with that!

I love barn pics. Especially red barns. I'd like horse pics too, but the barn is just as good.
ReplyDeleteTim says it's a corncrib, not a barn and that's how they make them. Why? I don't know. google it.
