My long day started last night! that's how long it was!Last night I went to bed about 10:30pm ish and there was a few thunder and lighting things going on, not bad or big, well the storm got bigger as the night went on, we had a lot of lighting, the kind that makes your eyes blind for a few seconds if your looking at it when it comes down, hard not too when its in your back yard and you wonder " hum can lighting come in the window?" and then thunder! made the house shake! and I am not kidding about this! So that kept me up till about 2am? and then I had to get up early as I went to MN to go to the state fair with my Aunt Donna that lives in MSP. We got to the fair at about 11am, and sorry Alaska, we have (you!) a vary puny/weak/anemic fair!. The fair here in MN, I think, prides its self on "food on a stick!"and not just corn dogs, there was pork chop, Rubens, fried Twinkies and I think that if you wanted it, somebody would shove a stick in it and fry up that bad boy for ya if you wanted it that way! There was even CDs on a stick! I do have to say though that the Gyros at the Alaska fair are 100% better then the MN fair one was! I was very unhappy with mine! but that didn't stop me from eating it but I didn't enjoy it, that's where the calories come into play, if its not good, no worries, no calories, God would not be that unfair! The following are some pics I took.
I had to stand in the puke zone for this shot! was worried about that!
This is my Aunt Donna in front of the pumkin.
We went into a art gallery and I thought that the vines on the window looked nice.
Now I know what it looks like to look out of them, I see vines/ivy all over houses down here, its a nice look, inside and out!
P.S. its 8.30pm right now and its still warm out, but getting cooler and its dusk right now and the crickets are chirping, or maybe its frogs, we had 2 in of rain last night, sounds like frogs now that I think about it

I was beginning to wonder if you had forgotten all about me. Whaaah. Did you see someone whom I don't know actually commented on my blog. I must be in the big time now! Just joking, but it is nice to see someone actually read it.
ReplyDeleteWow, that sure is a huge pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how big the seeds are.
We're going to cabin this weekend. I'll be back Sun night.
