Jokes on me!

Really funny God! It's a knee slapper all right. You got me on April Fools Day.

Yesterday when I got home from work, I took some pictures of the yard that was starting to have a green blush as the grass was starting to green up. I was going to post that picture today and rub the noses of those up in AK with it. Well, looks like God had a different plan. This is what I woke up to. Snowed for a few hours. Hey, I can still rub some noses! The snow is almost gone now, other then in the shaded areas. So Ha! HA HA!

  4. Nyah, Nyah, Nyah....I don't feel sorry for you at all! We are supposed to get snow on Fri and Sat. Spring will come eventually, I'm sure. It always does, just never soon enough.

  5. TeeHee....we got some of the same stuff last night-maybe around 4-6" but hard to tell for sure 'cause of the danged wind - but happy to have more snow - especially good wet one like this and the one last weekend!!! Didn't hardly snow in Pueblo which is good 'cause Taylor has a track meet here at 2pm. More snow predicted tomorrow night into Saturday. Hopefully Sunday will be nice so can load up Taylors 4 yr old QH, "TJ", and get to Hills indoor arena down at Walsenburg. Need to get down by creek and see if the pussy willows are ready to pick--waited too long last year. Trees in Pueblo have been leafing out/blooming for several weeks. But that's o.k., we will take all the moisture we can get!!! (but don't want any of the "black" snow Anchorage is gettng!!! Patty - that was an awsome picture your friend took of Redoubt and you had on your website!!!

  7. Seattle got hit with snow yesterday. I just had a bit of rain and wind here. Didn't even know about the snow up north until the 11 o'clock news last night as my family up there didn't call. I'm SO glad we didn't get any!

Kris, you're Alaskan. You can deal. Snow until May isn't so unusual for your life. :)

  9. You should see what I still have up here in Northern Maine!! Lucky you that you have grass showing, whether it's green or dead doesn't matter, it's not snow!
