My day.

It was a nice and warm day. Maybe a little too warm. When I got home from work this evening it was 86 at my house. Inside it was 78. I'm now sitting on the couch in front of the fan. On high.

I got sick the other day and today I have a bad sore throat and a runny nose. Normally I'm pretty upbeat and positive but today I wasn't.

It's nice to have a loyal dog, that's a positive thing. After I mowed some lawn I wanted a nap as I was feeling very tired. My loyal dog got on the bed with me and was panting so hard that she had the bed shaking. I told her to knock it off. Then I could feel her little stub tail wag. I spoke therefor I must be awake and ready to pet her. So much for my nap.

I went to and from work today with all the windows rolled down. On the way home a bug came in and hit my hard on the cheek and I got bug guts on the inside of my glasses. Yuck.

But you know what's nice about a head cold? It's when you blow your nose or sneeze and it's very "productive". ( Don't play shy with me, you know what I'm talking about!)

Oh and the topper today was when I went to open a new jar of mayo. I had to get that little piece of plastic off the jar first. I used a sharp knife and it slipped and nicked my thumb. Just a little blood.

I think that I will have a cup of hot tea and go to bed early. ( Hot tea will make my nose "productive" )
