I got through the library system , a DVD of the T.V. series called FireFly. I watched all of it on hulu and found out that when it was pulled off the air that there were 4 episodes that never aired. So I ordered it. It is a 4 DVD set. I got it the the other day and guess what? Right there on the cover it states that it's missing the 4th DVD! Why why why would a library send it when they know that it's not complete? Would the send a book with the last 4 chapters missing? I think not! Grrrrr. I sent it right back. If you get a chance I would recommend watching it. It's SciFi.
I woke up this morning and wondered why I was dreaming about the Periodic Chart. I remember looking at the heavy metals and wondering about alloys. Why? What does that mean in dream interpretation? (NaOH)
Why is it that when I'm really not in the mood to shop the stores are packed and I go down the aisle that is having the family reunion and you can't get past them as there are too many carts?And they are to busy yakking to see that they are in the way? ( I don't like crowds)
This evening while I was letting Abby out ( Again ) I saw this in the door jam for the sliding door.
I will have to take care of it before it gets bigger.
What pray tell is that in your door jamb? It looks like a cockroach - those icky fat squishy brown ones. ICK Is it a wasp? I can't tell. I hate shopping in crowded stores too, mostly because so many people seem to be ignorant of life around them.
ReplyDeleteI share your library frustrations! I'm currently reading Anna Karenina. While searching in the card catalog to see if an extra copy was available, I was surprised to discover there was a VHS! I quickly scanned the 2-sentence summary, and it revealed the ending of the story! Why would you put how the story ends in the summary?? I'm going to continue reading it, though. Its a good read.

ReplyDeleteOnce you finish watching all of Firefly (LOVED that show), there is a movie called Serenity that continues on and tries to wrap up some of the story. I highly recommend it. We have the series and the movie on DVD and occasionally will rewatch them.
