Little blessings

Today I gave blood. Here in Wisconsin they have the Red Cross taking your blood. Unlike Alaska where you go to the blood bank and give some. They were very nice. The cookies and juice was made from local volunteers. I ate some real good homemade cookies. Where the little blessing comes in. Today was wash day and all the good undies are not available for me to wear so that means I was wearing the bloomers that slide down.

It was so so hot while giving blood that I was drenched it sweat. In fact I was so hot that I started to feel kind of faint and sick to my stomach. So hot that my undies did NOT slide down as they were now stuck on me. Is that not a grand thing or not?

Back to giving blood. Up in Alaska my BP was always 120/68 but here it's higher. I don't like that. I was talking to the blood taker and he said that this kind of heat can cause stress and stress will up your BP. So I'm not too worried but I think I will keep an eye on it. Maybe take a BP test in the winter when I'm not all hot and sweaty.

  3. Perhaps you should throw the sliding bloomers in the trash and wash more often, or better yet, buy yourself some new undies. That's not nearly as hard as brasseries. You can just buy the package and not try them on! You should tell the story about D. calling the brassery shop.

  4. Too bad it was so hot in the room where they were taking blood. Good thing you didn't faint.

The undies...I have no comment on that!

  5. Thanks for giving blood.

I guess that's one positive point for sweating, your undies will stay where they are supposed to.
