The church that I go to has asked me to go through all their books and set up a library for them. Tomorrow I'm going to go to church and go through boxes of books and see what we have. We have a carpenter in the church that will build some shelves for the books. I'm thinking that I will have a Non Fiction,Fiction,Young Adult and Youth section. I looked at some of the books and they are really outdated, published back in the 70's. They are for YA but nobody is going to read them. Just one look as the cover and it will get passed by. I think that the NF will need to be in 2 categories, Christian and secular. Why I say that is that I see a box of hunting and fishing books and other stuff. I think it will be fun to organize it.
With it being my birthday tomorrow my friend Kellie had me over for dinner and also she made me my cake of choice. I love her lemon cake that she makes that her Grandmother made. It's yummy. ( See Dad? You can have something other then Angel Food cake with green frosting! )
I'm now stuffed. She also sent a lot of the cake home with me. Her kids are down south right now so it was to much cake for her. But not me. Maybe that's why she's skinny and I'm not!
Here is the 2nd batch of soap. It's lavender with lavender flowers added to it. It looks very pretty. This batch I will cut at 1 and 1/2 inches, not at 2 inches like I did with the 1st batch.
My house smells very nice right now. Oh, I was also asked why I had it wrapped in a blanket. You do that for the 1st 24 hours as it's doing its thing. You don't want it to cool down to fast.
Ok, the blanket makes sense.
