Ta-da!

Two Ta-das! The first Ta-da is that the fence is up and with a gate! It's a nice nice fence. Here are some pictures of it. Tim did a real good job. Poor guy really burnt his scalp though. But he's tough and soon he will be home so I wont have to hear him whine. ( I jokes!)

The goat pen is about 50ft wide and 90ft in length. We used up all the metal post and dug up some old ones that were hanging around. I'm thrifty like that, or some might call it cheap. When I got home from work, Tim and Patty had a nice surprise for me. They bought me a gate for the pen and put on a red bow on it. It's my birthday present. ( As it will be that very special day real soon.)

The second Ta-da is that I made soap tonight! It took about 2 hours to make the 1 batch. I got maybe, just a tad bit cranky. I am going to make soap in the basement. I don't have enough light, my digital scale kept turning itself off and the flashlight died. The recipe that I used would use kg and then swap to lbs and then grams. I had to change the scale each time. Patty is going to redo it so that it's all the same. It was really just first time nerves. This batch is unscented as I was worried that it might not turn out and didn't want to waste any of my scented oils. But it all worked out. The soap traced in about 15 minutes. I will be making more tomorrow. And noop, we didn't take any pictures. There was just to much going on with it being the first time.

I'm pooped, my dogs are barking. ( That is,my feet hurt ) so good night all. Do a tick check.

I'm the same way when I make something new for the first time...I get all nervous and hyper.

  6. They will have a nice area to roam. Great job Tim!

Kris, you forgot your aloe vera at work.

You got past the first batch, good. That would be very frustrating to be going back and forth with the measurements.
