Today was the last day of classes for me! I think I did pretty good in all my classes but wont know for sure till Dec 23.
When I got to school this morning there were some of my fellow students talking about selling their book back to the school. One girl said that she was told that they only need six or seven more of book we used for our class. i asked her if she knew when the book store opened. She said right now, she just sold her book back. I ran up there and sold my used book and got 89 bucks for it.
Down side. I needed that book for a test today in that class! But lots of the students, when they heard that they were only going to buy back a few the also were without books for the test. The teacher let us share books.
My book was used and I got 89 bucks for it. A fellow student, who had a brand new book was late in selling it back and they only paid him 50 for it as they really didn't need it. I'm glad that I sold it when I did.
IMHO, the school book thing is a RACKET!

Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run. Sounds like you knew when to sell. Good job! I agree, the "required" books are a racket.

so, I wonder what they will sell your used book for next time?? probably $90!! I always bought used book when I could. I was in college 20 some years ago.. I dont remember what they cost then, but they must be way more now!
