Burn night

Being that I live in a rural area I don't get garbage pick up. So I burn it. Well, I burn most of it, I take my glass,cans and plastic to the county recycle/dump place. I don't want my burn barrel to get full of glass and cans. I don't make a lot of trash so I only burn once a month, that's about 4 bags of trash.I have only been to the dump place once as I wanted to check it out, they are only open 3 days a week and they have odd hours. They also told me that it was illegal to burn trash but that they don't enforce the rule and I see lots of other people burning their trash too. Which, I know does not make it right for me, but..... Do I keep burning? or do I stop burning and take it all to the dump? If I take it all to the dump I will have to go once a week as I don't want trash bags sitting around as the wild animals would get into them. And it all boils down to the fact, it fun to have a fire in your yard!
