A little drive.

I can be a procrastinator sometimes. Today was one of those days. I didn't feel like doing laundry or cleaning house. I did need to do the dishes as they have been in the sink for a day and a half. I ran out of soap and forgot to get some more. I needed to go into the big town but I'm getting tired of same road. I took a different route. Not really a route as it was much longer but I still ended up where I needed to be ( Super Wall-Mart )

While on the road I came across this young girl out riding. That's what you can do in Wisconsin at the end of March. You know why? Cause it's SPRING! I should have taken the picture of a green field but there was too much traffic so I didn't. But it was GREEN.

It was a nice hour or so of just driving around. I still get a thrill of just being able to take this road and that road and if that road looks more interesting then I take that one. It's a fun way to explore.

Oh, big news! I ate some fruit today! I bought bananas awhile back and didn't eat them so I put them in the freezer and will make banana bread with them. But they are small ones so I needed to buy some more. I bought 3 more. I ate one! OK, I admit I had it with a bowl of ice cream but still I ate a banana. That counts right? Right? Well I'm counting it.

Hey Dad? You know that jar of Adams peanut butter you left behind? The good stuff? Well I made it better. I added some chocolate syrup to it and heated that up in the microwave till it was all gooey and melted and had that with the ice cream. ( But I had fruit )

  1. Geez, I didn't know you had to force yourself to eat fruit. But fruit is sweet? Do you not like the texture.

  2. I understand your fruit non-fetish. I will eat bananas as long as they are firm and just turned yellow. If they have a brown spot, Tim must eat them. I'll eat slices of apple but a whole one is WAY too much apple. I like grapefruit (with sugar) and grapes and cherries. I saw mom today - she said you were thoroughly enjoying your spring. I can tell. Can I come live with you?

  3. Krissy, what about fresh nectarines, peaches and apricots. Fresh off the tree goodness should be available to you along with the all the fresh veggies in your area. How about fresh off the tree cherries?????

by the way, the wind turned on us and ash in falling in Anchorage. No wonder I have a headache. Our beautiful white snow is now dirty grey.

  7. Krissy you need to find a fruit pusher to replace me. Maybe someone at work can help you out and give you fruit daily.
