2 things.

I'm pretty sure that I moved to Wisconsin. My mail has a Wisconsin address. I think that I live in North Dakota! It has been windy for a few days straight. I like the wind. I used to live on a sailboat and know all about how the wind is a good thing. You want wind on a sailboat. This morning it was only 40 at my house and windy. A bitter cold wind from out of the north. It's still windy. It's making the doors rattle and the house makes weird noises. I'm getting a wee bit tired of the wind. It can stop now.

This next statement might get me kicked out of North Dakota Wisconsin ( That's me being funny ) I have now had Cheese curds fried and not fried. I don't like them ( Gasp!) I have had then so spanking fresh that it was like a squeak bomb in my mouth. I have had Cheddar Cheese and I have had other types. They all have been bland. I would rather eat a plastic wrap single slice of processed cheese then more curd. On the up side, Abby likes them just find. Kind of a pricey dog treat. But then, isn't she worth it?

So, being that I have made it plain that I don't care for Cheese Curd am I going to be handed my walking papers?

  1. You're not liking the curd? How can that be?! They're delish!! I don't like regular cheese much so maybe thats why I like curds and you just like straight cheese. I never understood how you (and dad) could just go to the fridge and get a snick of cheese. Now melted on a hamburger or melted in a dish...it's spectacular! But just cold and alone?, not so good.

  2. I don't like the fried curds, but I love the squeaky fresh cheese curds. I think it's the saltiness of them, more than any other flavor.

And I totally agree about this wind - it's really bad! And now frost tonight! That was a short spring we had. ;)

  3. I love cheese curds deep fried from A & W. The ones I got when I was down last time were just like chunks of cheese, nothing special.

I hope the wind is gone by the time we get there. Tim don't like the wind you know.

  4. Ok, no more bashing of the cheese curd, don't you know that's a food group in WI. Personly I happen to really like fresh squeaky really salty cheese curds.
